SKRIPAC SHUTOUT GIVES RAIDERS SECTIONALS

Billy Skripac threw a shutout to lead South Range past Pymatuning Valley 10-0 on Wednesday in the sectional finals. The win advances the Raidersvto districts.

The Raiders fired up the offense in the first inning. Dylan Dominguez singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Skripac led the Raiders to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 12 and walking zero.

South Range had nine hits in the game. Shane Lindstrom and Dominguez each managed multiple hits. Lindstrom led with three hits in four at bats.

South Range advances to the Niles district semifinals on Monday where they’ll meet up with Champion. First pitch from Waddell Park set for 7:00.
