STRUTHERS OH-  Newton Falls went into Cene Park under the lights on Thursday night and put on a show. They got another win inside the MVAC over Campbell Memorial 5-1.

Newton Falls opened up scoring in the second inning. Owen Gazda grounded out, scoring one run.

Trevor Ruscoe was credited with the victory for Newton Falls. The bulldog allowed five hits and one run over three innings, striking out three. Alex Pennigton threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Pennigton recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save.

Zack Luciano took the loss for Memorial. The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out ten.

Gino Lazzari led the Tigers with two hits in two at bats.

Jacob Jackson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Memorial in hits.
