WARRIORS OFFENSE HAS RECORD BREAKING NIGHT

BELOIT OH- The West Branch offense scored more than anyone in the state of Ohio. After Week 9, their big average wasn’t going to fall. They dropped 77 points on Minerva to rout the Lions 77-0. Multiple players broke or tied records on the night.

Steven Marra found the endzone three times on the night. Those three touchdowns put him at 25 did the season. That breaks the previous program record of 23 set by Trae Hillyer in 2015. Nick Wilson got in on the action tying the record for touchdown receptions in a season. He now has 14, which ties Tom Sanor. One more record was to be broken on the night. Ben Tolson’s 7 PAT’s gave him a career total 96, which breaks a record set by Scott Loudon from 1989-1991.

With Carrollton’s loss to Marlington, West Branch officially clinched the EBC Championship. Don’t think they’ll relax in Week 10 though. There is plenty to get up for as the Warriors do battle with heated rival Salem on Saturday in Salem.
