CLIPPERS CLINCH OUTRIGHT EOAC TITLE

LISBON OH- Columbiana celebrated in style as they clinched the outright Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference (EOAC) championship with a four-set win over Lisbon. The final scores were 25-16, 19-25, 25-15, and 25-18, capping off an outstanding season and achieving their championship aspirations.

Columbiana showcased their prowess on the court with a well-rounded performance. Ellie Jackson was the epitome of versatility, recording a spectacular triple-double with 10 kills, 16 assists, and 11 digs. Her contributions were instrumental in the team’s success. Danica Halas demonstrated her offensive prowess with 12 kills, consistently delivering crucial points for Columbiana. Maryn Hepler was a vital presence at the net, contributing 11 kills and 18 digs, securing a double-double. Her exceptional defensive work and offensive contributions were pivotal. Kelsey Cameron added 7 kills and made her presence felt with 7 aces, displaying her skills both in offense and serving. Cameron Perkins with 24 assists, played a significant role in orchestrating the team’s offense. She also contributed 8 digs and 4 kills, showcasing her all-around abilities. Ava Heinrich anchored the defense with a remarkable 25 digs and served up 6 aces, making her a formidable force on the court.

Lisbon, despite the loss, had several standout performances.  Maddie Marshalek led the team with 10 kills, contributing valuable points throughout the match. Stefanee Stacey displayed her versatility with 21 assists and 10 digs, ensuring the team’s offense ran smoothly. Izzy Lannon showcased her defensive prowess with 21 digs and added 5 kills to her impressive stat line. Eliza Baker and **Kyrstin Reckner  both made significant contributions on the defensive end, recording 18 and 17 digs, respectively.
