RIDGE LOOKS TO BUILD ON OPENING DAY WIN

EAST PALESTINE OH- Last season Mineral Ridge sent out a young roster that found only 2 victories in a tough MVAC schedule. With a roster that is one year older, the Rams started with a bang on Monday as they traveled to East Palestine and got the win 43-37.  The Rams are 1-0 for the first time since 2017.

Ava Hulett led the Rams with an impressive 18 points.  She also went up to get 5 rebounds.  Olivia Booth finished with a double double gathering 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Gianna Gilbert payed great defense taking away 5 steals, she also finished with 7 points.

Mineral Ridge will hope to make it 2-0 on Wednesday as they travel to Sebring.  East Palestine gets right back to action on Tuesday as they travel to Lordstown.
