WARRIORS SHOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE GREEN

BELOIT OH- West Branch took down Green 4-1 on Sunday. The Warriors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Hunter Shields doubled, Beau Alazaus doubled, and Jeremiah Thomas singled, each scoring one run.

Thomas earned the win for West Branch. The left-handed pitcher allowed five hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking two. Sam Dubravetz took the loss for Green. He went five innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out six and walking one. Anthony Perry collected the save. Gavin Bell tossed two innings of scoreless ball in relief. They gave up one hit, striking out three and walking one.

Thomas led West Branch with two hits in two at bats. Alazaus, Shields, and Thomas each drove in one run. Kaden Gregory and Nolan McKendry each collected two hits for Green.
