WARRIORS USE BIG FOURTH INNING TO ROAST CAMPBELL

Brookfield nabbed the lead late in the game in a 15-5 victory over Memorial on Friday. Brookfield was down 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Connor Heater doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Heater led the Warriors to victory by driving in four runs. Heater went 2-for-2 at the plate. Heater drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a single in the fifth.

Brookfield got on the board in the first inning. Donovan Pawlowski drove in one when he singled.

Brookfield took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth David Pawlowski singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Hunter Baum singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

The Warriors tallied four runs in the fifth inning. Teddy Moody, Heater, and Pawlowski powered the big inning with RBIs.

Mark Randall was on the pitcher’s mound for Brookfield. The righthander allowed six hits and five runs over four innings, striking out four.

Brookfield racked up 15 hits. Pawlowski, Heater, AJ Bartolin, Moody, Baum, Pawlowski, and Randall all managed multiple hits. Pawlowski led with three hits in five at bats.
