GIRARD BATTLES PAST RAIDERS TO STAY UNBEATEN

GIRARD OH- It wasn’t an easy match for Girard on Thursday night, but they battled through a tough South Range team to win in four sets and stay unbeaten on the young season. (25-16 25-18 20-25 25-19)

Lauren Pallone went off for the Indians. She finished with 26 kills, 19 digs, and 5 aces. Bree Latell also had a double double collecting 19 kills and 14 digs. Alli Durkin did a great job setting up the high powered Girard offense finishing with 26 assists.

Maria Primavera secured a double double for the Raiders in a losing effort. She finished with 12 kills, and 14 digs. Jamie Feren finished with a team high 17 assists. Reagan Irons had a season high 37 digs in the back row. She also served up 3 aces.

Girard will venture out of the league on Wednesday September 8th as they’ll host Champion. South Range also take a break in the NE8, they travel to East Liverpool on Saturday.
