REBELS GET AN IMPORTANT WIN AGAINST CHAMPION

WARREN, OHIO- Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound Thursday, but Crestview defeated Champion 3-1.

The Rebels got things started in the first inning when Jesse McKee drove in one when McKee singled.

Ethan Feezle got the win for Rebels on the mound as the pitcher surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out eight.

McKee, Tyler Milhorn, Matthew Strank, and Cade Hancox each collected one hit to lead Rebels.

Hunter Haines took the loss for Champion. Haines went six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out five.

Crestview will return to play against Newton Falls on Monday, while Champion will look to get back in the win column when they take on Warren JFK on Friday.
