EAGLE WEAR SOARS OVER PROSPECTS

STRUTHERS OH- Eagle Wear scored 9 runs in three innings on Sunday to run away from Prospects 9-4. They only gave up one run after their nine run outburst. Eagle Wear score their nine runs on nine hits.

Matt Womer went 2-3 for Eagle Wear with a walk and 2 RBI. Donny Shimko had a huge game. He went 2-3 with 2 runs scored a walk and 3 RBI.

Jared Mindek went 1-3 with a run scored and a RBI for Prospects. Mike Galterio went 1-2 with a run scored and a RBI.

Christian Zill secured the win on the bump for Eagle Wear. He went 4 innings giving up 3 earned runs on 4 hits. He struck out 5.

 

WHITING SILENCES CREEKSIDE OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH- Whiting Roll-Offs had a tremendous effort on the mound Sunday in a 4-0 shutout of Creekside. Whiting scored two in the 2nd and then added two more insurance runs in the 6th. They held Creekside to 0 runs on 6 hits.

For Whiting, Gavin Wooley went 1-2 with 2 RBI. Cre Calabria went 2-3 with 1 RBI. Ben Dottie walked 3 times and scored a run.

Creekside’s offense struggled, but Nick Flemming went 2-2. Grant Voytovich went 1-3.

Brendon Hink got the win on the mound for Whiting. He went 5 innings giving up 0 runs on 6 hits. He struck out 5.

ROTH BROTHERS REIGNS SUPREME

STRUTHERS OH- An early Knightline lead did nothing to bother Roth Brothers as they scored twelve runs in 3 innings in a 12-5 victory on Sunday. Knightline was up 3-0 after three innings. Roth Brothers ended up getting 12 runs on 8 hits.

Cam Hollobaugh went 1-2 with a run scored, 2 walks, and 2 RBI for Roth Brothers. Caelen Bender went 1-3 with 2 RBI.

For Knightline Nick Jacobs went 1-2 with 2 RBI.  Brett Bobbin went 1-3 with 1 RBI.

Abe Bayus got the victory on the bump for Roth Brothers.  He went 4 innings giving up 4 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 3.

EAGLE WEAR BATS EXPLODE IN BIG WIN

STRUTHERS, OH – The Eagle Wear offense got started quick and left no doubt as they struck for four runs in both the first and second innings. By the time Ballistic Baseball got on the board, Eagle Wear was already settled in. Once Eagle Wear put up another five runs in the top of the fifth inning, they just cruised to a 13-3 victory.
For Ballistic Baseball, Koby Zupko went 2-2 with a run scored and an RBI. Bryce Smith went 1-2 with a double and a run scored. Tanner Egil went 1-2 with a triple and run scored. Kevin Schott picked up the loss today while giving 4 hits, 4 runs with one earned.
For Eagle Wear, Zach Lordo went 2-3 with two doubles, one run scored, and 2 RBI. Donny Shimko went 2-3 with a double and 3 runs scored. Teddy Ruffner went 1-4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, and an RBI. Brett Palmer went 2-3 with a run scored and 3 RBI.
The winning pitcher was Larry Iagulli for Eagle Wear as he went the complete game giving up 3 earned runs on 7 hits with 2 strikeouts.

CREEKSIDE FITNESS STARTS STRONG, NEVER LOOKS BACK

STRUTHERS, OH – Creekside Fitness jumped out of the gates with two quick runs in the top of the first inning then struck again for three runs in the top of the fourth, all before Prospects got on the board. Although Prospects brought two runs of their own in, in the bottom of the fourth, the Creekside lead and pitching was too much to handle as Creekside Fitness got the win, 5-2.

For Prospects, Michael Galterio went 1-3 with a run scored. Sean Helpy added in an RBI. Shane Cato went 1-2 with a walk and an RBI while also tossing a complete game. Unfortunately Cato ended up taking the loss but went 7 full innings giving up 5 runs, 4 of which were earned, on 10 hits with 5 strikeouts.

For Creekside Fitness, Thomas Koch went 2-3 with a run scored and an RBI. David Duffalo went 2-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Grant Voytovich went 2-3 with a run scored. Cole Yeager went 1-3 with a double and an RBI while also throwing two perfect innings in relief with 2 strikeouts.

The winning pitcher was Nic Rispoli for Creekside Fitness as he went 4 strong innings giving up 2 earned runs on 2 hits with 11 strikeouts.

ROTH BROTHERS BATS STAY HOT

STRUTHERS, OH – Jared Obreza started off strong on the mound for Roth Brothers as he started off a little shaky against the Avalanche offense but settled in nicely after the first inning. The Avalanche offense got on the board early as they scored two in the top of the first but their bats went cold once Obreza got warmed up. The Roth Brothers offense came out firing on all cylinders as they manufactured runs every inning during the game en route to a 12-2 win.

For Avalanche, Conner Evans went 1-3 with a run scored. Marshall Weinburg went 1-3 with a double, run scored, and an RBI. Jack McQueen also went 1-3 with an RBI. Tyler Cummings ended up taking the loss but went 3 innings giving up 6 runs, 4 of which were earned, on 7 hits with 2 strikeouts.

For Roth Brothers, Brett Beith went 3-4 with a double, run scored, and an RBI. Alex Tomsic went 1-1 with a triple and 2 RBI. Cam Hollobaugh went 1-3 with a triple, walk, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI. Anthony Cortese also added in 2 RBI on the day.

The winning pitcher was Jared Obreza for Roth Brothers as he went 4 strong innings giving up 2 earned runs on 4 hits with 4 strikeouts.

DURA EDGE STARTS HOT, CRUISES TO VICTORY

STRUTHERS, OH – Will Shaffer started off strong on the mound for Dura Edge as he left Whiting’s offense questioning how to manufacture runs the first time through the order. Dura Edge also got on the board early as they scored one in the first then three in the third before Whiting figured out Shaffer for two runs in the fourth. Once Dura Edge added another three runs in the fourth, they stayed hot at the plate and added five more runs in the fifth to win the game 12-2win.

For Whiting, Tyler Kamerer went 2-2 with an RBI and run scored. Chase Tomko went 1-2 with an RBI. Gavin Wooley ended up taking the loss but went 3 innings giving up 5 runs, 3 of which were earned, on 3 hits with 1 strikeout.

For Dura Edge, Jake Bowen went 3-3 with 3 RBI. Joey Perfette went 1-3 with a triple and 4 RBI. Andrew Marcello went 1-2 with 2 walks and 4 runs scored.

The winning pitcher was Will Shaffer for Dura Edge as he went 4 strong innings giving up 2 unearned runs on 3 hits with 1 strikeout.

CREEKSIDE STIFLES BALLISTIC OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside pitching handcuffed Ballistic Baseball’s offense. They jumped ahead early with three runs in the first inning. After adding a run in the 5th, Creekside sailed to a 5-0 win.

For Creekside, David Duffalo went 2-3 with a RBI. BJ Arnold went 1-2 with a walk and a RBI. Nick Flemming went 1-2 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and a RBI.

Ballistic’s offense struggled, but Dustin Horn has a perfect day at the plate going 2-2. Bryce Smith went 1-3.

Andrew Vince was electric on the bump for Creekside. He went all 7 innings giving up 0 runs on 5 hits. He struck out 5.

 

WHITING SURVIVES LATE RALLY

STRUTHERS OH- Whiting Roll-Offs has to survive a furious 7th inning rally from Eagle Wear to win 5-4. Whiting carries a 5-0 lead into the 7th, scoring three insurance runs in the 6th. It ended up being just enough to hold off Eagle Wear.

Cre Calabria went 1-1 for Whiting with a RBI. Chase Tomko went 1-3 with a RBI. JA Quahliero went 1-2 with a walk, and a run scored.

Ricky Enlow has a good day for Eagle Wear. He went 1-3 with a walk and 2 RBI. Matt Womer went 2-3 with a run scored.

Zach Phillis got the win toeing the rubber for Whiting. He went 5 innings giving up 0 runs on 3 hits. He struck out 6.

ROTH BROTHERS REBOUNDS AGAINST PROSPECTS

STRUTHERS OH- Roth Brothers bounced back from a loss to Creekside with a win over Prospects on Friday 5-1. Roth scored two runs in the first two innings, and then added three insurance runs in the 6th and 7th. Their pitching made five runs more than enough as they only gave up one run on three hits.

For Roth Brothers Cam Hollobaugh went 3-4. Ty Ventresco went 1-3 with a RBI. LJ Evans collected a RBI.

David Leslie got the lone RBI for Prospects going 1-2. Shane Cato also went 1-2.

Alex Tomsic got the win for Roth Brothers on the mound. He went 5 innings giving up 0 earned runs on 2 hits. He struck out 7.
