LEOPARDS UPSET SALEM TO MOVE ON

SALEM OH- Louisville may have come in the underdog in Tuesday night’s matchup with 12th seeded Salem, but that didn’t bother them at all. The Leopards defense stalled the Quakers for a 2-0 shutout. They advance to the sectional finals.

Sophomore Drew Dillen knocked one in early in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. The assist went to Angelo Paquelet. That was all the scoring for the first half, but in the second the Leopards would add to their lead with a goal from freshman Dominic Porter-Kovecich. Joe Reynolds earned his sixth shutout of the season securing one save in front of the net.

Louisville will hit the road again as they advance to travel to sixth seeded Mentor Lake Catholic on Saturday. That game is slated to kick off at 4:00.
