The game began with a statement as Western Reserve’s Jack Darney intercepted a pass and sprinted 56 yards for a touchdown, giving his team an early 7-0 lead with Andrij Chuta Suy adding the PAT. The first quarter ended with Western Reserve in control.

In the second quarter, Western Reserve continued to assert their dominance, with Luke Henning connecting with Jack Darney for a 42-yard touchdown pass, extending their lead to 14-0 after Suy’s successful PAT.
