WILDCATS PASS BIGGEST TEST TO REMAIN UNBEATEN

STRUTHERS OH- What a way to close out a perfect 21-0 regular season slate the Struthers Wildcats took down the McDonald Blue Devils 92-71 in a high scoring contest.  Both teams combined for 27 3-pointers in the game. McDonald grabbed an early 3rd quarter advantage but the Wildcats  put up 51 points in the final 2 periods to seal up the victory.

Struthers senior Trey Metzka had 5 3-pointers in his game high 32 points as  teammates Brandon Washington with 20 points and Luke Baker with 16 fueled the Wildcats.

McDonald’s Miles Culp scored 24 points and  Eli Street had a big night with 22 points as he canned  from beyond the arc.

Next on the slate for the Wildcats in an opening Division II tournament game Tuesday night as they will host the Niles Red Dragons and McDonald , who finished up with a 20-2 record , Will start their Division IV play with a Tuesday Nighthome game with Bloomfield.
