WELLSVILLE TAKES FIRST PLACE IN THE EOAC

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – When at least a share of a championship is on the line, you have to be locked in. That is how it was in the matchup between Wellsville and Valley Christian Tuesday night. Valley’s Joey Battista lit up the court with three’s late in the game to cut the Tigers lead down to just 3, making it 44-41. It was not enough for the Eagles as Wellsville pushed back to extend their lead further to get the victory and the share of the EOAC championship, 52-46.

For Wellsville, Isaiah Greathouse led the way with a game-high 27 points. Edward Stock and Jaxon Brewer both added 8 on the night respectively.
